Our approach is grounded in Attachment Theory and focuses on person-centered mental health counselling, utilizing precise clinical techniques to meet individuals at their unique and dynamic stages of change. Our treatment methodologies are current and evidence-based, integrating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic-based psychotherapy approaches to provide effective psychological support, particularly in areas like trauma therapy and anger management, helping to improve and maintain optimal bio-psychosocial and spiritual health.
Human beings are creatures of habit, and many find change uncomfortable and frustrating, even when the outcomes are positive. We believe that transformational change begins with self-compassion, self-awareness, and the innate action needed to ignite the inner core strength essential for maintaining optimal lifestyle functioning. This is especially relevant in the context of mental health counselling, where individuals can explore their feelings and experiences. Programs like Anger Management and trauma therapy can provide the necessary psychological support, helping individuals navigate their emotions. It takes a spark of courage to ask for help, and when a trusting relationship based on non-judgment and unconditional positive regard is established, transformational change becomes possible, often facilitated through techniques like EMDR.
